There's been a fair amount of talk in the post-ep discussions for "Stealing Home" about Mac's reactions to Stella in this episode, and about why, precisely, he's behaving the way he is. Most of that's been covered already, but while talking to mentalhygiene earlier, a lightbulb suddenly went on over my head, and I made a connection that I hadn't explicitly made before.
