At
bedlamsbard's encouragement, I've signed up for the April Fools writing project, in hopes of beginning to sort out and articulate some of my ideas about the original novel. My goal is to write 20,000 words in April, which works out to about 667 words per day. I think that's a reasonable expectation on my part, and it'll still leave me brainspace to work on "Walk the Line" and the rest of my fic projects.
This weekend, you should get Stella/Flack/Hawkes pr0n, as that story is progressing nicely.
Also, a song for you:
Thea Gilmore -- The Things We Never Said (from her Rules for Jokers album)
Could you say that again babe
I've not heard that one before
You're looking four years older
You're looking for the door
I lipsticked "Fuck You" on the mirror
As a mark of my respect
And wandered out into the street
Well, what the hell did you expect
It's urgent, angry, and bitter, and beautifully lyrical at the same time.
