Quiet Easter weekend: got the hair cut & colored, and the brows waxed & shaped, so I am presentable again. Possibly even cute, if the lighting's right.

I also went to the best used bookstore in the world, and picked up three research tomes: Armed & Dangerous: A Writer's Guide to Weapons; Scene of the Crime: A Writer's Guide to Crime Scene Investigation; and A Century of Spies: Intelligence in the Twentieth Century. And yes, around here, those all count as research. Also got Conversations With Capote and Dennis Lehane's Mystic River.

Going to a screening of Kill Bill: Volume 2 tomorrow night. In the meantime, I am going to go attempt to do some writing. You know. Of the screenplay and/or fic sort.
